Real Wedding: Azadeh and Kaveh

On August 7th, 2011 Azadeh and Kaveh were married at Graydon Hall Manor. They had originally met at a party one year prior to their wedding. Azadeh remembers hearing Kaveh’s distinctive laugh from across the room, and she was instantly drawn to him. She went over and introduced herself – they had an immediate connection, so much so that they didn’t leave each other’s side for the entire evening.

The Dress: Azadeh wore a stunning strapless encrusted bodice and whimsical ivory tulle skirt by Monique Lhuillier (also known as the “Meriah”). Her something old was an antique pair of pearl earrings that were passed down through three generations. Her something new was a Kelly veil from Laura Jane Bridal in Oyster, purchased from White Toronto. Lastly, her something borrowed was her best friend’s diamond flower bracelet.

(WedLuxe) How would you describe your wedding day?

Azadeh: “All in all, our wedding culminated into the party of the year for our friends and family. It was a beautiful event, with every single detail chosen by us for a special reason. We knew we wanted great food, great music, and amazing memories; we got all that and so much more.”

Was there a specific theme or mood you were trying to to achieve on your wedding day?

“We wanted to pay homage to Persian tradition. Since turquoise is a traditional Persian wedding hue, it was the inspiration behind the silk turquoise tablecloths, the guest book and the custom-made silk fans.”
